Pleasant experience at this Subway. I visited after the lunch rush on a weekday and there were just a few people on line. The line moved quickly and I received a nice greeting when I arrived at the counter. My sandwich was made quickly and to my liking. Checking out was little confusing/disorganized with several people switching off to complete the transaction and the card reader was slow.
Despite being a small store, there are a few tables and a counter by the window with pub height chairs for seating. I imagine most people come for take out, but it's not a bad place to sit and eat.
Food is standard Subway and tasted fresh. Veggies were crispy. Bread was soft. No complaints. -

Subway. Why not?
They're food or so they say.
I don't like what they got.
They're just so below the fray.
Their bread is gross.
Even if now it's real.
Their subs makes me morose.
Seriously it just can't call itself a meal. -

Ok so as many have stated previously, it's chain food so you get what you pay for it and it's all the same. But their customer service associates are the worst. Quite often when I go in I have trouble trying to get them to make the sandwiches right, but today was definitely a "highlight". I order a cold cut trio with Swiss cheese, I try to communicate I also want bacon on it but between the meat and cheese. While I'm trying to do that for some reason the person thought I was asking for egg it sounded like and proceeds to take my meat off. I ask why and she's starts saying something to her co-workers about my having to say "excuse me". The guy in front of me was offered to have his sub toasted they don't give me that option, she goes to automatically put in for toasting, I have to tell her not to. SO they put it on the counter in line for veggies and the finishing touches, comes to mine the next clerk then takes mine apart to reheat the bacon (again without asking) I have to tell her it's fine and she looks at my like I'm crazy.
If you can avoid this location, it's a shame this is the only one in this neighborhood any more. -

This Subway location next to Jane's Buffet is tiny, so it is pretty cramped when you're waiting in line. But they have 3 tables for two spaced against one wall, and six stools set along the counter by the window, so you can eat in if you like and find yourself an open spot. The lunch rush (primarily take-out) was mostly over by 1:20pm.
Requesting your sandwich toasted causes a bit of a stall in the line. Even worse of a stall is when you ask for soup ($2 with a sandwich, $2.50 by itself), since the single worker manning the cash register then pops out back to get it.
The 10 oz broccoli chedder soup was pipping hot and full of chunky broccoli florets though. And while my sandwich with the veggie add ons were a bit askew, said veggies were pretty fresh. And the 4 little meatballs of an inch in diameter in my $2 six-inch Customer Appreciation Month meatball sub were tender and meaty. Acceptable for what it was.
Lunch for under $5? Yes please!
